The Nelson Property Investors’ Association invites members and guests to our May 2026 meeting at the Honest Lawyer, Monaco.

This month’s guest speakers are Tim Vincent and Andrew Smith from JAE Nelson. Many members may already know Andrew from his previous role managing JAE Nelson prior to the Nelson and Tasman operations merging.
Tim and Andrew will discuss:
- Pest control issues affecting rental properties
- Flood restoration processes and response
- Insurance-related restoration work
- Moisture detection, drying equipment, and remediation
- Practical advice for landlords dealing with property damage events
Flood restoration is not limited to river flooding. The session will also cover common landlord situations including burst pipes, overflowing baths, leaking roofs, washing machine failures, sewer overflows, and other unexpected water damage incidents.
Glenn notes that JAE’s long-standing relationships with insurers can significantly simplify the claims and restoration process for landlords.
